Michael Moore Lies Again

Did Moore Fib About Movie Profits?

Did Democratic propagandameister Michael Moore fib last month when said during an interview that he hadn't made any money from his Bush-bashing flick, "Fahrenheit 9/11."

According to the March issue of Vanity Fair, Moore stands to pocket millions in profits from the movie.

But in January, during an interview about his film on the U.K.'s Channel 4 network, Moore was asked:
"If you are so concerned about helping our troops in Iraq, why don't you donate 100 percent of the money from your movies to that cause?"

Moore shot back: "I haven't seen a dime from this movie!"

According to Vanity Fair, however, "Fahrenheit 9/11" cost $6 million to produce and generated box office sales of more than $200 million.

The magazine said that Moore stands to pocket about a quarter of that gross, which would be $50 million..
Moore is such a bullshitter, that sometimes he gets in REALLY over his head and completely steps in it. He was so upset at the question of why he doesn't donate proceeds of his movie to the troops, he actually tried to pass off that he hasn't received any money for the project! Is he out of his mind, to think people would actually believe this? He must be so used to people believing ANYTHING he says, he's getting even more careless and dishonest. Anyone in their right mind would know without question that obviously he's received money from the film, and lots of it. Moore tries to act like he's just a regular guy, but he's far from it. He's filthy rich, yet still charged families of the victims of the Columbine school shooting to see his movie "Bowling for Columbine" when they were asked to premiere it. Now he's trying to say he hasn't gotten "one dime", which I guess is in fact true. He's going to be receiving about 500 million times that amount, an estimated 50 million. Sure could buy a lot of Hummer armor with that kind of money...

Michael Savage: Only Cares About Money and Attention

I decided to stop by Michael Weiner a.k.a. Savage's website recently, you know that whole "know thy enemy" crap everyone always talks about. Well the King of Kooks somehow has managed to outdo himself once again - he's suggesting people should help the soldier charged with murder, Lt. Pantano, by get this...BUYING MICHAEL SAVAGES NEW BOOK! That's right folks, you too can be a great American if you simply give money to Michael Savage for his shameless promotion. A whopping 10% of the proceeds go to the lawyer fund! Interestingly, no where on his site does he let you just donate directly to the fund. He doesn't even have a link of the soldier's own Mother's website, where you can donate money to her. Hmmm, makes ya wonder....

Now I was listening to this asshole on Wednesday, and he must've mentioned how he was going to take $50,000 from his Paul Revere Society to start a lawyer fund at least 10 times. Desperately trying to exploit the attention brought on by the story, Michael Savage doesn't care about Lt. Pantano. He wants money and attention. Now, instead of just giving the money to the soldier, he's asking for YOU, the gullable consumer, to buy his book and the 10% will go towards the 50k he had already promised. Pretty pathetic Mr. Weiner. Pretty damn pathetic.

To go to the website set up by Lt. Pantano's mother, please visit Defend the Defenders. You are able to donate directly to the cause through the website.

The American Military is Better Than This

Iraqi Died While Hung From Wrists

Associated Press
By SETH HETTENA

SAN DIEGO - An Iraqi whose corpse was photographed with grinning U.S. soldiers at Abu Ghraib died under CIA (news - web sites) interrogation while in a position condemned by human rights groups as torture — suspended by his wrists, with his hands cuffed behind his back, according to reports reviewed by The Associated Press.

The death of the prisoner, Manadel al-Jamadi, became known last year when the Abu Ghraib prison scandal broke. The U.S. military said back then that the death had been ruled a homicide. But the exact circumstances under which the man died were not disclosed at the time.

The prisoner died in a position known as "Palestinian hanging," the documents reviewed by The AP show. It is unclear whether that position was approved by the Bush administration for use in CIA interrogations.

The spy agency, which faces congressional scrutiny over its detention and interrogation of terror suspects at the Baghdad prison and elsewhere, declined to comment for this story, as did the Justice Department (news - web sites).

Al-Jamadi was one of the CIA's "ghost" detainees at Abu Ghraib — prisoners being held secretly by the agency.

His death in November 2003 became public with the release of photos of Abu Ghraib guards giving a thumbs-up over his bruised and puffy-faced corpse, which had been packed in ice. One of those guards was Pvt. Charles Graner, who last month received 10 years in a military prison for abusing detainees.

Al-Jamadi died in a prison shower room during about a half-hour of questioning, before interrogators could extract any information, according to the documents, which consist of statements from Army prison guards to investigators with the military and the CIA's Inspector General's office.

One Army guard, Sgt. Jeffery Frost, said the prisoner's arms were stretched behind him in a way he had never before seen. Frost told investigators he was surprised al-Jamadi's arms "didn't pop out of their sockets," according to a summary of his interview.

Frost and other guards had been summoned to reposition al-Jamadi, who an interrogator said was not cooperating. As the guards released the shackles and lowered al-Jamadi, blood gushed from his mouth "as if a faucet had been turned on," according to the interview summary...
This is extremely disturbing, to say the least. What kind of supervision is going on over there if soldiers can spend their time taking pictures around a corpse of someone it seems they MURDERED. I'm all for aggressive interrogation techniques, but what this article describes seems to cross the line into torture. I hope to God this is not happening on a regular basis. How can we as Americans expect to ever persuade the international community of our good intentions in places like Iraq, if idiotic soldiers commit acts like this in our country's name? The guy got 10 years (not strict enough in my view, he's helped damage our country's reputation), but what the hell are his commanding officers doing? Conservatives need to be just as angry about this kind of thing as liberals. This hands behind the back thing sounds very similar to techniques the North Vietnamese used on our own POWs in Vietnam. I do NOT support this. We as a country need to set up rules and regulations IMMEDIATELY that tell our soldiers what they can and cannot do when carrying out an interrogation. Otherwise acts like this will continue to happen - and continue to drag America's name through the mud.

Letter to Michael Savage

An e-mail I sent to Michael Savage today:

I am a 20 year old male living out in Chandler Arizona, currently enrolled in college. I am a non-religious conservative, but certainly do not always walk the party line. One of my favorite past-times is to just sit around the house and listen to various talk radio programs. I've heard your name and show mentioned off-hand several times through the past couple years, but had never tuned in to listen to you before. After getting XM Radio in the house, and the channel America Right, I've listened to you everyday for the past week.

After first tuning in, I thought "Great! Here's a voice I can listen to that'll tell me how it is no matter what people think". Unfortunately, I think the last problem you have in life is what other people think of you. You are obviously mentally derranged and emotionally unstable. Your obvious self-hatred spews out onto the airwaves at pretty much everyone. Quickly I found out you're just an idiot who generally only gets attention because of your shock value. Now I am against gay-marriage and do not support the homosexual lifestyle, but you sir are so vicious towards the gay community one can't help but wonder if there's a secret reason for your actions. Interestingly enough, a brief amount of internet research reveals letters you've written to the famous poet Allen Ginsberg that further demonstrate that possibility. In a GQ article you're quoted as saying, "Everyone has some latent homosexual feelings. It doesn't mean you have to act on them." No Michael, homosexuals have homosexual feelings, not everyone.

But really there's so much more that's just plain creepy about you than just the that. One of your homo-erotic letters to Mr. Ginsberg reads, "Dear Allen Ginsberg, Watched a tourist from New Zealand taking pictures of Fijian people in the marketplace. Thought of inserting my cameras lens in your A hole to photograph the walls of your rectum. I really do apologize But the thought did occur." What the hell? Then there's the poor sap Tim Bueller, the 17 year old dumb enough to have you as an idol. You sure treated him well, didn't you Mr. Savage - err, I mean, Mr. Michael Weiner (man your existence is too funny)? You were even dumb enough to threaten to sue George W. Bush for stealing the term "compassionate conservative", claiming you invented the term in 1994. Congressman Bob Dornan used that term far before then, as well as others, and that is well documented and easily found with a quick google search of the facts.

Overall, I just feel sad for you and the people listening to you who aren't laughing. It's disgusting to think people from the Republican party actually listen to the crap you say and believe it. You're not only over-the-top, because that wouldn't bother me, you're out-of-your-mind. You're delusional. Liberalism may be a mental disorder, but being a Michael Weiner makes you a certifiable nut-case. The things you say have no rational train of thought, and it's almost impossible to follow along with the rants you make because they're so detached from reality. Not only should your advertisers drop you, you should be institutionalized.

You refer to Ghandi as "Runty little do-gooder in diapers". You once asked a prank caller who insulted your hideously grotesque teeth, "Are you a sodomite? You should get AIDS and die, you pig. How's that?" Real nice stuff Mr. Weiner. The fact that you're a closet homosexual only makes this more pathetic. The fact that people listen to what you say and take it seriously just shows the degeneration of logic in this country. I think the truth is most people listen to you for the same reason people listen to Air America or watch Jerry Springer or Alex Jones, they do it to laugh at the fanatical idiots on display. Sure, a select few tune in to buy into the crap you say, but not most of us. Please stop acting like you speak for people like me, you don't. I look forward to watching your career suck deeper and deeper into the toilet.

P.S. That Marine will be cleared of all charges, he doesn't need your self-glorificating help. As nice as it is to mention 15 times in a show you're going to send him money, the military court will find him not guilty, even if it does actually get brought to court. You seem like you're sensationalizing it a little too much, hoping to catch a little bit of this story's spotlight. Just an observation.

Sincerely,
Ronald Mark Rutherford II
